🔎 General questions
What exactly is GOAL water?
GOAL cubes are effervescent tablets that dissolve in water to flavour your drink. They are formulated with a focus on taste to allow you to enjoy your hydration.
How much water should I add to each cube?
We recommend adding 1 cube to 400-600ml of water. However, you can add more or less water depending on your taste preferences.
How much water is recommended to drink per day?
Doctors recommend a daily water intake of about 2.5 litres for women and 4 litres from men. It's important to note that these guidelines are general recommendations and individual needs may vary depending on various factors such as:
Physical Activity: If you're exercising or engaging in any activity that makes you sweat, you need to drink extra water to cover the additional fluid loss.
Environment: Hot or humid weather can make you sweat and require additional fluid intake. Heated indoor air also can cause your skin to lose moisture during wintertime.
Health Conditions: Certain health conditions, like fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, can lead to additional fluid loss. In such cases, more fluid intake is necessary.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding need additional fluids to stay hydrated.
Diet: If your diet is high in salty, spicy, or sugary foods, or if you consume diuretics like caffeine and alcohol, you might need more water.
How many cubes can I have per day?
As many as you’d like to hit your hydration goals! Our cubes do not contain any extra ingredients such as vitamins or minerals and therefore do not have risk of exceeding your daily recommended values for these nutrients. However, it is important to note that GOAL cubes should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.
Can I consume GOAL while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes - there are no ingredients in GOAL cubes that must be avoided in pregnancy or when breastfeeding. Plus, it is recommended that pregnant or breastfeeding women consume additional fluids to stay hydrated. However, during these periods we always recommend checking with your primary care doctor before adding something new to your diet.
Can children consume GOAL?
Yes - GOAL can be used by children over 3 years old and can help them enjoy drinking water and stay hydrated throughout the day.
Can diabetics consume GOAL?
Yes - GOAL cubes have zero sugar. To provide a sweet taste we use a sweetener called sucralose which is 600 times sweeter than sugar therefore allowing our drinks to have a sweet aftertaste with very low amounts of sweetener, and zero calories. Sucralose has been studied extensively and is deemed safe by the U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA), European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Health Canada and the World Health Organization (WHO). Further, sucralose does not affect blood glucose and insulin levels, making it a suitable sweetener choice for people with diabetes.
How long does it take for the cubes to dissolve?
It takes 2-3 minutes for the cubes to dissolve in water.
How should I store the cubes?
Store at a temperature of +4 to +25 °C, dry and tightly closed.
Do your cubes have an expiration date?
Yes - the expiration date is mentioned on the base of the tub. It is typically 24 months since opening the tub.
Where are your products manufactured?
The cubes are manufactured in Germany.
